ANALYSIS OF TECHNICAL AND ECONOMICAL PERFORMANCE OF AIR-CONDITIONING FACILITIES USED FOR RESIDENTIAL BUILDING IN CHINA

With the national income increasing in China, it is required for the resident to have higher indoor air quality for their residential buildings, and the technical and economical performance of air-conditioning facilities equipped with these buildings will be concerned intensively. In the paper, based on the current consuming level of citizen, the energy sources policies and the energy sources configurations in China, it was firstly analyzed that the technological and economical characteristics of both the residential multi-units air-conditioning equipment (RMUACE) and the central air-conditioning system (CACS) by means of developed mathematical model according to the different climate in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Then, the foreground of employing two types of air-conditioning equipment into the residential building would be predicted in these areas. The researching results show that the RMUACE is more popular than that of the CACS recently because the citizen are now running the RMUACE daily as less hours as possible for the purpose of energy-saving. With the family income increases in the future, more running hour of air-conditioning systems would be arrived, and the advantages of CACS, especially energy-saving, will be revealed, and the latter will be substituted for the former.
