Numerical Simulation of PPRV Based on Pneumatic Bridge Networks
The structure of Pneumatic Pressure Reducing Valve (PPRV) was analyzed with the theory of the hydraulic bridge networks. Theoretical analysis showed that the pneumatic resistances R10 R11 and R2 as well as pneumatic capacitances C1 and C2 were critical factors that influence performance of the valve. Then the exact mathematical simulation model was built up, detailed simulation results validate the analysis results before. Also the best parameters were got via simulation. The novel method for valve analysis and design can be referenced for designing of pneumatic or hydraulic components.
