Research on color environment of classrooms in middle school and primary school
In thesis, authors selected 11 middle schools and primary schools in north China, total 1791 pupils, as research objects. Through analyzing the survey data, authors found which classrooms colors and color arrangement modes are students like mostly in different ages.From the favorite classroom samples selected by students, we can see: Younger pupils like the warm color classroom samples. On the other side, elder pupils like the cool color classroom samples. Junior pupils like every sample that they saw. They have uncertain trends to the samples. The samples which senior pupils like centralized in the cool color samples.Designers should use different colors for different pupils. Younger pupils like the higher saturation warm colors. Grade 1 and Grade 2 pupils like light pink sidewalls and light yellow front wall were set for of primary school. Grade 3 and Grade 4 pupils like light green, light blue and white more than other colors. Light green and light gray were mixed used in Grade 5, Grade 6 of primary schools and middle schools.
