Determination of Content of Chlorogenic Acid and Caffeic Acid in Leontopodium leontopodioides by HPLC
Object: To establish high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for determination of content of chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid in Leontopodium leontopodioides for the first time.Method: The stationary phase was GiamonsiiTM C18 (5μm, 250×4.6mm) column and the mobile phase was acetonitrile-0.5% phosphoric acid (10∶90).The flow rate was maintained at 1.0mL/min and the column oven temperature was 40℃.We set 280nm as detective wavelength.Results: The liner range of chlorogenic acid was 0.08-0.76μg (r=0.9999).The average recovery (n=5) was 99.2%.Conclusion: The method is simple, accurate and sensible.And this will provide reference for the quality control of Leontopodium leontopodioides.
