Somatization and Negative Emotion Expression Relation Study
Two studies examined the relationship between somatization and negative emotion expression,study 1 hypothesis individuals with high-somatization have more negative emotion,study 2 test individuals with high-somatization have less symptom after negative emotion expression.SCL-90 as scale and 3-weeks expressive writing about traumatic events and negative emotion as intervention to test 52 university students; 46 students as control group and do expressive writing about positive events and emotion.Results showed that individuals with high-somatization were significant different in obsession,depression,anxiety,hostile,phobophobia with the low-somatization individuals; after expressive writing about traumatic events and negative emotion,pro-post-test of individuals with high-somatization were significant different in depression,anxiety,hostile,but there were not significant different for control group.
