Cholesterol is related to ischaemic stroke but not haemorrhagic stroke

Objective The relationship between cholesterol and coronary heart disease is well established,however,the association between cholesterol level and risk of stroke is less clear.We used individual data from the cohorts of China Cohort Studies Collaboration(CCSC)to study the effect of baseline cholesterol level on the risk of ischaemic and haemorrhagic stroke in Chinese.
